Swimming Teacher Vacancy

If so, our Swimming Teacher role may be perfect for you!

The successful applicants role will include the following:

• – Delivery of school, small group, and 1-1 swimming to pupils aged 4-11
• – Delivering CPD opportunities to primary school teachers
• – Safeguarding children at all times
• – Contribute to the overall ethos and working values of the organisation
• – Contribute to raising standards by ensuring high expectations are shared with children
• – Supervise and support pupils ensuring their safety, by complying with good H&S practice
• – Support teachers and coaches in managing pupil behaviour, and reporting difficulties as appropriate
• – Attend training sessions as required for CPD purposes

To be considered for the role we are looking for someone who is:

• · An excellent verbal and written communicator.
• . A strong swimmer with sound knowledge of all swimming strokes and teaching practices
• · Able to plan, organise and facilitate high quality swimming lessons.
• · Able to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
• · Able to solve problems effectively and efficiently.
• · Resilient and able to work well under pressure.
• · A team player that demonstrates strong leadership qualities.

Desirable Qualifications

• · Degree within a relevant field
• · Level 3 in Supporting the Delivery of P.E and School Sport (this can be provided)
• · NGB Level 2 Coaching Qualification
• · Level 1 or 2 Swimming Teaching Qualification
• · Safeguarding Qualification
• · First Aid Certificate

Desirable Experience

• · Experience of delivering a Primary School swimming lesson
• · Experience of independently delivery a variety of different private swimming lessons, including small groups and 1-1’s

Job Types: Part-time or Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £10,000.00-£20,000.00 per year. (Full time or part time roles available)

Part-time hours: 10-37 per week (can be flexible)
